Early wiper blade designs featured a simple arm mechanism with a rubber blade attached, which moved across the windshield. However, today's wiper blades have become more intricate, incorporating aerodynamic designs to reduce wind lift and noise. The modern designs provide consistent pressure and optimal contact with the windshield, ensuring efficient water removal for clearer visibility.
Iyer will be employed by Schaeffler India in Pune and will be reporting to Harsha Kadam, the company's managing director and CEO. He will also be a part of the leadership group for India.
